Design in Details

The Zimbabwe Black granite is named after the state of South Africa from which it is extracted and is also commonly known as Absolute Black or Black Pretoria.
From the geological point of view, it is classified as a grapple, i.e. intruderic olleocrystalline magmatic rock, and differs from granites due to the presence of silicates.

It differs from the other blacks because the grains are finer, homogeneous and very compact. The small crystalline spots on the surface vary between grey and black and give elegance and sophistication to the architectural works in which it is used.
It is one of the world’s best-selling materials because it guarantees uniform colour even on large surfaces.

Hardness and color tone make Black Zimbabwe an ideal granite for the most complex architectural projects. It can cover the interior or exterior of palaces, hotels, shopping malls and villas. And despite its durable composition, it is suitable for many types of workmanship: polishing, flaming and brushing. It harmonizes perfectly with any style of furnishings, and has a beautiful aesthetic presentation on kitchen tops and home bath tops.
